CMU, Tufts or UCSD?

I'm having a hard time choosing between these three schools.

I got in CMU for design, but I really wanted to do their BCSA program. I talked to the admission officers and they said it would be kind of hard to transfer into the BCSA program as CS is pretty full. I also talked to the CS Dean and a BCSA advisor and made it sound like it's not hard to transfer. The BCSA advisor made it seem like it was really easy considering that I have both AP Calc and CS credits I can transfer.

Tufts I got in for Mechanical engineering. Tufts I heard is a pretty good school, but it's not really reputable for their engineering program. I also heard that they aren't really known in the west coast, which is where I'm from and where I plan to work when I'm done with college.

UCSD I got in for computer engineering. Computer engineering was my 2nd choice major. UCSD is still a pretty good school and I get to enjoy great California whether.

Could somebody give me some help?

I would be more likely to believe the person who told you that it is difficult to transfer because that’s what we’ve been told quite a bit. It’s doable, but not easy and never guaranteed.
