Cockrell Honors Admission Process

<p>Okay, so I got into the Cockrell School of Engineering. Now, I want to apply to the honors program. I have to write a 300 word essay about engineering. I submitted an essay for regular admission to the school that had a lot to do with my passion for engineering. </p>

<p>So basically I am wondering whether admission to the honor's program is based on the 300 word essay, or do they also look at my regular application(and therefore the essay I wrote about my passion for engineering)?</p>

<p>Ask an adviser?... that's kind of what they are there for. We can give chances more freely than they can(mostly because we have no repercussions if we are wrong), but they will be more than happy to answer your admissions process questions I believe.</p>
