I sent all the required materials more than a month ago,
but some of the colleges notified me that they never
got my application materials.
Is something wrong? What should I do?

Yes, there is something wrong. Though the admissions office might be overcrowded, they should have some idea where your materials are. If they say they have not gotten those materials, they haven't.

Get into contact with the college. Find out what's missing and urge them look for your materials. Also, get whatever you're missing sent over if they can't find it within the next couple days.

It's possible the materials are in the admissions office but simply haven't been put into your file yet.

It's also possible the materials somehow got lost in the mail. Do the colleges give you any instructions on what they want you to do? The college I applied to, for instance, had me fax over copies of all the missing materials, and then mail the originals again.

Call the college! Often the papers get mixed up in filing, but you need to be the one responsible for them getting all of your application in one pile.

Just curious... was one of them St. Mary's? I sent my SAT scores to them early December and I got a letter from them last week that they still hadn't received them. Thankfully the admissions office was great and solved it quickly once I sent them an e-mail.
