<p>I just registered, so if I'm doing this wrong, i.e. placing this thread in the wrong place, tell me, please.</p>
<p>I'm sure most of you know of this by now, but if you don't, enjoy. I just have a few things that need clarifying.</p>
<p>So basically, the collegeboard has this new policy-</p>
<p>New</a> SAT Score-Reporting Policy</p>
<p>where they state that students can "select which [SAT I and II] scores they send to colleges" and that "students who complete a test prior to the launch of the new score-reporting feature will be able to take advantage of this option when sending past or future scores." </p>
<p>Now, I took the SAT II Bio and SAT II 2C in both May and June. I went 770/730 for the Bio, which was disappointing, but my math scores were horrible- 700/730. I'm retaking the 2C next year- as a junior- and this time, with prep.</p>
<p>But, to those who are familiar with this policy, does it still apply to my past tests? Can I still cancel the 2C tests?</p>

<p>I don't really know too much about the new policy but I definitely wouldn't call a 770 "disappointing" and a 730 "horrible"</p>
<p>You don't "cancel" them exactly. You can just elect not to send them at the time you request a score report be sent to a college.</p>
<p>Sorry, let me rephrase.
A 770 is good, understandably, but the 730, especially the second time around, was a bit of a downer. And the 730 on 2C is relatively bad- 74 percentile, and given that most of the people in my school (Arcadia, CA- competitive as they get, 4000 students) get 800 as a norm.</p>

<p>Yeah, you will be able to choose which SAT Subject Test scores you want to send if you are ordering score reports after March 2009. </p>
<p>The CollegeBoard says you will be also able to request which SAT I scores you want sent, also, but those will be sent by sitting date; that is to say you can't pick the CR section score from one test date and the WR score from another and math from another, and piece it together in that way. SAT I scores will be sent as a total score for any given test date. You can also elect to send scores from more than one test date, which you might want to do if it gives you the highest "superscore".</p>
<p>SAT Subject Test scores are not restricted by that and you will be able to pick and choose which to send even when taken on the same test date.</p>
<p>You can also elect to send all of your scores if you want to, but you don't have to.</p>
<p>Yep, anyone in the class of 2010 and beyond can pick and choose which test dates colleges see. You won't have to show them any tests you don't want to.</p>

<p>Except, of course, if the college requires you to send them all, which many do. Many top schools do not give you the option and force you to send them all.</p>
