Here is the CSU/UC GPA calculator using only 10-11 th grades: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

For UC Merced, you will need at the minimum a GPA of 3.0 to qualify to apply, however; that will not necessarily mean you have a good chance for an acceptance.

To really chance you, you need to post your Test scores since all the Cal States use the Eligiblity index calculation to rank applicants.

(CSU GPA X800) + (SAT MATH + CR) OR (CSU GPAX200) + (ACT COMPOSITE)

Intended major will also make a difference on your chances. Repost with the needed information.

SAT : 1620 . 1100 for Read + Math
Intended Major: Biochemistry/Biology

Your CSU GPA is 3.0 currently?

That’s correct

EI= 3500

You have picked some competitive majors so I would chance you as follows:
CSUDH: Safety
CSULA/SFSU: Match
SJSU: High Match
CSULB/UC Merced: Reach

Here is the EI threshold cutoffs for SJSU for this years Freshman to give you a perspective of your chances. EI thresholds will change yearly based on the applicant pool.

Good Luck and suggest since your GPA will probably be not too much higher, you should consider retaking the SAT or try the ACT.
