12

4 reaches
4 matches
4 safteys

8 ucs usc and 2 out of state

my school only allows us to send 8 apps.
so I'm going for 6-7, including 1 ED

1 0

5 maybe--around that.

I can't narrow it down more.

12 schools

1 ED
3 EA (safeties)

and if I don't get into my ED school:
10 RD

14 TOTAL

10

HPS(M?)
5 Tier I schools
1 Safety

4 ucs (2 safeties), 4 out of state (2 ivys-my reaches), maybe usc, not sure. the rest of the 4 schools are matches somewhow-match, match/safety or match/reach. trying to keep the list around 8-10.

right now i have 13, but if i get into one of my ea schools it might be less, but it might not!

Somewhere in the double digit figure range. Yes, i'm that scared D:

11
could go down if I get into my EA school

I think I have the majority of you beat -- 5 total (2 safeties, 2 matches, and a reach). 4 of them are UCs.

^im with kyledavid

approximately 5 schools

basically all high-low matches.

I wouldn't want to go to any ivy school, none fit me, so there :D

Probably 10 or 11? List is almost final.

No Ivy really fits me, either, except maybe Penn, but I wouldn't choose it over, say, Berkeley, so I'm not bothering to apply.

7 seems right.

8-10. I'm still trying to narrow it down, although it could change depending on EA results

Just to give some sense of how atypical CC is:

nationwide 30% of students apply to only 1 or 2 colleges and fewer than 25% apply to more than 5.
