College Class of 2025 Waitlist Thread

that def sounds like good news!

Anyone heard from Boston University?

Haverford has filled their class and will not be pulling their waitlist.

Has anyone heard anything about Northwestern?

Clemson University has over-committed their incoming class and will most likely not be pulling from their waitlist

Wondering why Clemson is on the NACAC list with openings for freshman if they are over enrolled?

What is the NACAC?

An organization that lists all the schools that still have openings at this time.

I think they are only over-enrolled for Fall Semester but they may pull waitlist for January admits.

Pitzer announced they are full as of May 1.

Carnegie Mellon University is almost full. They likely won’t take many people off.

Also, Dartmouth sent an email that said that they are full and not pulling from the waitlist.

How is Davidson doing?

Has anyone heard from GWU calling off waitlist for Poli Sci?

Swarthmore is full

Hi guys! Do you think it’s true that colleges accept students from waitlist based on the date when they submitted LOCI?

No. Definitely untrue.

but i mean, can they close their waitlist before reviewing applications that were submitted later? They have kinda rolling admissions, have they? Thank you in advance🙏

Sure, it appears that some students may get accepted off of the waitlist before the last date that LOCIs are accepted so late senders could be at a disadvantage when that happens. But agree with above response that the date of receipt is unlikely to be a factor for decisions made after the due date for LOCIs.

Sure. But you are overemphasizing the importance of a LOCI. If you fulfill a need the college has, they will pull you off the wait list - LOCI or no LOCI
