I've asked my college dean FIVE times now (twice in person, three times in writing. twice before the deadline, three times after the deadline) to submit the college dean reports to my colleges and she still has not!

i went to her well before the deadline with all of the materials (forms, addressed/stamped envelopes), was very polite, sent thank yous etc etc, so i don't know what the problem is.

anyone else have similar problems? what did you do? any suggestions for me? i hate to pester her(i've been in contacted 3 times this past week already!) but i don't know what else to do!

I'm having the same exact problem! she's getting really annoyed with me. It's her fault though, she loses the forms and doesnt know what to write...you would think my dean would know how to fill out a form.

well she doesn't and I don't know what to do either. Today is the deadline for that form and if she doesnt fax it in, im pretty much screwed and the school wont look at me. I think i might call her today.

Is there another dean you could ask? Or is she the one that is supposed to do it? Many times a school will have several deans in different departments- you might ask another one to do it, or have them talk to this dean for you. A dean would have much more influence than a desperate student who wants out (though I certainly understand why you're desperate and why you would want to get away!). Or do you have have a faculty advisor who could put in a good word for you and say how much it would mean to you?
