<p>So, I've been stuck in making my college decision for a long time. Help, please?</p>
<p>The schools I'm super considering:
University of Washington [my only qualms are the size, it is a hugeee school]
Syracuse University [I visited and loved it. It's also across the country, so super far away] - I've been admitted to their honors program
University of Puget Sound [I'm starting to consider it, but am not super into it. It's a very small school, and thats a pretty big negative to me]</p>
<p>I honestly have narrowed it down from the 8 I applied to, to these three. Although I am starting to consider Northwestern more and more.</p>
<p>Right now, I'm not too sure about what I want to do, but am thinking about majoring in psychology, maybe international relations...</p>
<p>Thoughts?</p>

<p>Mm, I’m getting $12,000/yr in merit at both Syracuse and UPS.</p>
<p>UW is instate tuition, so considerably less than the other two. All the same, cost isnt a huge concern for my family. I’m just trying to pick the school that will be best for me overall.</p>
<p>I guess one of my other concerns about UW is the number of people from my school who go there, but from what I’ve heard, you don’t run into people unless you want to.</p>
<p>UW would be my choice. Don’t worry abotu running into people from your school, there are ALOT of students. I rarely ran into people from my undergrad university (30K students) Its a tough choice, I can see the logic in going with the honors program and if you loved it and money is no object then why not experience something different for 4 yrs.</p>
<p>Yeah, thats why I’m so stuck. It really has come down to UW and Syracuse for me, and I’m having a super hard time making the decision. They’re both fabulous schools.</p>

<p>Cost: UW is much cheaper.
Location: Both have there pros and cons on this. UW is in Seattle which I love, but also really close to home. Syracuse is really far from me, and the weather isn’t fabulous, haha.
Class Sizes: UW has HUGE class sizes the first few years, it seems that because of the honors program at Syracuse I would see less of that.
Major/Minors: Both have strong psych programs, but UW is offering a minor in human rights which I think is fabulous, on the other hand, Syracuse has a lot of other programs to explore.</p>

<p>No not even close. Plus UW is ranked higher if that means anything. A better school that is less expensive makes sense to me.</p>
