I thought it would be nice for those already in college to post a pic of the dorm they currently live in (school name, "small school" within school if it applies).

Thanks (sorry if there is already a thread.. I think we need a recent one).

Well, different majors are in different schools (biology is in the School of Science, EE is in the school of engineering)... but intended major isn't a factor in admission, and everybody lives together regardless of year or major.

i lived in an on campus apartment. we had four bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen/dining, and a decent sized closet in the hallway. i lived in the biggest apartment building on campus.. other buildings apartments were a little smaller.

here are photos. (none of them are me.. as i'm the one taking the pictures)

leaving at home? do you mean living at home? my apartment was so much better than living at home.. man i don't know what i would of done if i lived at home during college. i've only been at home for a month since i've graduated and I'm already ready to move out of here.

There's a link to NYU's housing page. If you click on each dorm and then clikc location and features you can take a hall tour with lots of pictures.

Theonekid: ALL schools are going to kick you out over the summer (unless you pay extra and are in a summer program), thats just how it works. For the other big breaks, many schools kick you out but there are ways to stay (usually one of hte dorms on campus stays open).

At my school, everyone is allowed to stay during breaks. You have to pay for the summer as if it were a third semester, but you can stay for any reason. So it depends on where you go.

All the dorms here provide a bed frame, box spring, mattress, desk, and desk chair, but you can move it around/out as you want, as long as it's back in the room by the end of the year.

The dorm is at MIT and is all singles (woo no roommate).

Whoever is on your bed has the same shoes as me. Yes, that is all I have to say! Hmm.. I'm sure no one is considering this college, but University of Mary in Bismarck, ND has individual bathrooms for each Dorm. It's really nice hah. I had to stay there for HOBY, and it surpassed all the other dorms I've had to stay in for camps etc.

fendergirl: man, soemone living with you loves anime, and i think i love him/her, actually if its a him, ill pass, but those are nice naruto/da bebob posters...cliche to have naruto and cowboy bebob, but cool nonetheless--they're good animes/mangas w00; well i thought u lived in the middle of nowhere, from all the posts i've read of urs, i guess nowhere really is somewhere where nowhere is defined as somewhere where people actually from somewhere look at some place that really isnt something, comes down basically to relativity

still the dorm room thing, good luck to you all
