<p>I was at the Rutgers game. As a Md. season ticket holder and frequent road tripper it was one of the greatest road wins I’ve ever witnessed.</p>

<p>South Florida is kicking some major ass lately, good for them. We (auburn) way underestimated them and I think that is why we lost to them a few weeks ago. Does anyone know if Auburn’s back on the rankings yet after our victory this weekend? I haven’t looked yet. Right now I’d even be happy for 25 if we were at least ranked again. </p>

<p>And yes, ItsGr8ToBeaGator, it was party time in Auburn last night. We have a tradition of toilet papering Toomer’s Corner (corner where the campus meets town) after a victory and even though it has been kinda dead this weekend with many people either at the game or gone home, people came out of the woodwork to celebrate there last night. That was more toilet paper than I’d seen in a long time, lol.</p>

Read the before game USF / Auburn quotes:</p>

<p>Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville said any chance that his team might overlook the Bulls was quickly dispelled when players watched USF’s highlights.
“You don’t have to tell them. All you have to do is show them the film last year and the year before, who they played and how they played,” Tuberville said. </p>

<p>Hardly sounds like anyone on the team underestmated them. Heck, some national press were picking this game as the upset special.
Get over it. It was no fluke.</p>

<p>After that demolition versus USC and giving up 40 points at home to Ball State, I don’t think you guys should even be ranked. Plus awful 1-4 Iowa State put up 415 yards on your team’s defense.</p>

<p>I don’t mean to be a control freak or anything, but would it be too much to limit the useless posts in this thread? I’m talking about posts that state simple facts that anyone could check in three seconds: “X team is now ranked Y in the nation”, “A vs. B score was X-Y”, or pretty much anything that could be entirely explained by one look at the ESPN scores or rankings page.
I know it sounds weird, but honestly, I’m just annoyed when I see a post saying “Rutgers is now in the top 10 in the country.” I saw that for myself, thanks.</p>
