Hi! I have several questions and i hope to get answers to them:)
I'm a junior! My school is known to be very competitive. We were ranked number 33 in the whole nation. Therefore, i hear a lot of rumors that UCSD loves us because everyone known to graduate our school is a hardworking, smart student. i just wanna know if that can be true? i go to mission san jose high school btw.

As for my academic abilities-
I have around a 3.8 unweighted so far. BUT- first semester junior year is not going too great for me. I think my weighted (worst case) may be a 3.1 weighted for this semester. I have a finals to raise my grades. and i have a lot that are borderline Bs to As. but worst case if i get a 3.1 will it reallly bring me down? I plan to get a 4.3 weighted next semester. I know its a big jump. but i went through a lot this semester with family problems and ecomically and the grades i got this last semester werent usually what i get. and i know i can get straight a's next semester.

in that case. if i do get a 3.1 (which hopeuflly i can change with finals)- id end up with a 3.75 weighted.

i havent taken the SAT yet. but im getting like 2000s. and i will strive to get a 2200. (if i am able to reach that goal of 2200) will that make up for my gpa?

as for extra curriculars: i've been on the varsity girls tennis team for all of high school.
i've been singing classical music for about 10 years. (have participated in many concerts)
i play classical instrument (sitar)- for about 7 years. ( also have been in many concerts)
+300 hours for community service
clubs: (pres) green club (pres) children at heart (sec) recreational tennis club

what UC's am i guaranteed in? if any? what UCs might i have a chance in?
