college honors program

Hi

I am trying to apply to the college honors program, but the application says I am trying to apply through the top 3% of the class method. I am definitely not the top 3% (10/64), but I have a 2110 SAT and I believe a 4.17 UC GPA. There is also, as far as I can tell, no way to switch over to the other method. Does the webpage mean that I am not qualified to apply for the College Honors Program? Is there anywhere I can check my UC GPA based on my application?

Thank you in advance!

Email the person in charge of UCLA Honors and explain your situation. I was 10 points short of the SAT requirement, and she told me she would put me in the appeals folder which she did.

You can also wait it out till Winter Quarter and reapply. Keep in mind that Honors gives you priority enrollment. Also bear in mind that priority enrollment will only be useful if you’re in the first half of it, otherwise it’s useless.

Good luck!

Ok thanks for your help!

I’m in the Top 3.5% of my class. Will that .5% disqualify me from using the Top Percent Method, or is it negligible?
