Safeties with Merit: TCU; Creighton; Rhodes; Furman.
By the way, both Madison and U of M should be safeties for you stats, too.
Good luck!
How does cost factor in?
Any preference for urban/rural, large/small, sports, region?
Also what state are you in?
@insanedreamer I live in Wisconsin so both Minnesota and Madison will cost about the same.
@ColdinMinny Should I consider Madison a safety especially since both of my parents went there?
A school is only a safety if you know for sure that you’ll be admitted AND that you’ll have ALL costs covered.
What are your parents saying about how much they’ll pay each year???
the “safeties with merit” listed above might not be safeties if your parents won’t pay the remaining costs. Those schools might give “some merit,” but the remaining costs may be $45k+ per year. IF your parents won’t pay that, then those aren’t safeties.
I’d say Madison and Minny are both safeties for you.
There are plenty of options for matches, depending on how much cost is an issue, so some additional preferences (location, size, environment, etc.) would be helpful in giving some suggestions.
OP, unless one of your parents burned down the Chem building while attending, I see no reason you would not be admitted to Madison (or U of M) with your stats.
At least 3 of the 4 schools I listed above have strong undergrad Business plus Grad Business schools and your net, net should be about $28-$31K to attend.
Good luck!
