College Plan - Help me Understand

Hello,

I'm just a senior in high school right now with a lot to learn.

However, I have one goal for sure (that could change as I enter college): Create a business or have a leadership management position.

I want to attend a top level business program at Harvard or Wharton. For undergraduate, I'm going to University of Maryland, College Park.

What steps should I take to have a higher chance at getting into a top level school? I already have some work experience from high school, and I'm hoping to gain more throughout college.

I also have another question: Is the GMAT more important than the GRE if I want to get a double masters in business administration and say chemical engineering or something else? Also, can I take the GMAT on paper or does it have to be online?

if you have money, open your own business and proves its a good one. Top school will consider that. GMAT is when you need to do MBA, GRE is for engineering. you have to take GMAT test by online format.

I think you need to focus on doing well in the next 6-7 years: school, your startups, etc. then you can decide what makes sense for you. I don’t think the goal should be focused on b school - that can be a side option to your general path.

If you get good grades and interesting/meaningful work experiences with relatively impressive accomplishments, you can figure out when to knock out the GMAT. Getting a 700+ is generally important.
