College rivalries

@andre- Ah. I go to Michigan’s other huge rival, but even I bleed blue when it comes to Michigan and OSU. It’s just the (state of) Michigan thing to do! lol

yeah! plus, everyone just hates ohio state nowadays. They have been basically the yankees of the big ten for the last decade.

5- USC vs. UCLA

4- Army vs. Navy

3- Alabama vs. Auburn

2- Duke vs. UNC

1- Michigan vs. Ohio State

“I think that rivalry existed years back, when UMich football was similar to Ohio State University. Maybe Michigan State University and Ohio State University are bigger rivalies now.”
you obviously are not from either of these states. what do you mean years back? michigan having a few down years does not mean the rivalry is dead at all. if u were from either of the states (i’m from michigan) you would know that the rivalry is far from dead, it just hasnt been that competitive the last couple years.
DePauw University vs Wabash College, the Monon Bell game. they’re d3 schools, but it was rated one of the top 5 reasons college football is great. there is no love between these 2 schools

In that case I can forgive you for going to that other school. :stuck_out_tongue: Of course, last night’s hockey game helps!

(I kid, I kid!)

We may disagree in the political thread in this forum, but I’m 100% with you here.

University of Kentucky vs University of Louisville. Well known for its basketball rivalry

also, the only 2 schools worth noting from the state

I am not from Ohio, I am from Michigan and live there when not attending school, just a few miles from Michigan State University. I know all about Michigan and Ohio universities and many agree with me, those in Michigan and Iowa that such a rivalry that once existed between Umich and Ohio State University has quietly simmered away, though the MSU and OSU rivalry still seems to exist to this day.

I like the state of Michigan more than Ohio, though cheer for Ohio State University against Umich and cheer for Michigan State University over Ohio State University.

Also I am not sure if I had applied to Umich my senior year igypseyes.

OSU views Michigan as a rival far more than MSU.

However OSU dominates both. The Big Ten has become a joke in almost all sports

Non sports–CatTech vs. MIT. Look up MIT hacks.

UChicago vs. Northwestern

Dayton vs Xavier, especially for basketball.

Clarkson vs. St. Lawrence(Sluzers)

You say Cluck Farkson
We say F*** SLU

Even if you win, at least we graduate with a job.

CU hockey>SLU(t)'S hockey

RPI Sucks
SLU Swallows

big ten isn’t that bad at basketball. at least it’s better all-around than the SEC.

There are church leagues that more competitive in basketball than the SEC.

If you want the best basketball look towards the Big East

I dont care what anyone says, I think Alabama v Auburn is the best college rivalry. I think things are even more interesting now with both having Heisman winners and National Championships in consecutive years.

Lehigh vs Lafayette! I’m surprised no one has posted this already. It’s the most played football rivalry in the nation, with 146 meetings.

Go Lehigh!

oh, you’ve gotta be kidding me! it’s the ACC baby!

nah you are right, even if it weren’t a down year for the ACC
