Can I get into UF?
What are my chances? I could explain all my stuff

You have provided zero information so nobody can opine.

Go to UF’s website:

http://admissions.ufl.edu/apply/freshman/freshmanapp

You’ll find information on the application, the evaluation process, holistic admissions, and the stats for the middle 50% of admitted students to UF. If you have questions after reviewing the website, post them in the UF forum.

You may also want to use the search feature in the UF forum, a lot has been discussed in the forum on what UF looks for in admissions.

Good Luck!

Stop and re-read your OP.

How do you expect anyone to give you an answer?

Your GPA is on the low side, but your SAT might just make up for it. I’d say it’s a low reach.

MY GPA is 3.8 and HPA is about 4.5 I am a junior .

I think people are saying that in order for them to give you any realistic feedback, you need to provide quite a bit of info regarding grades, ECs, leadership roles, work experience, class rigor, test scores, etc. If this is your junior year, this info would be vital for anyone to provide advice on how to improve your chances, especially since you have time. Look at previous posts where hopeful students were asking to be “chanced” and you will get a clear understanding of what info is needed. Good luck.

could someone please help me out like and they can ask me specifically about everything anf can explain it to me and else I need to do?

No one is going to play twenty questions with you. You need to post your stats, EC’s etc.

Sure.

Take a look at almost any of the threads in the “What are my chances?” forum. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/

See the kind of information they give? It’s what’s needed tor anyone here to give you a serious answer to your question.

Your original post and subsequent response suggest to me that you have no chance of getting accepted. Time to move on. Community college is a great place to grow up.

Ouch!!

What I get from your OP is that you’re new here and didn’t think your question out thoroughly.

Though I agree: Community College, just like the University of Florida, is indeed a great place to grow up.

@Qasim770
Everyone here is more than happy to help you, but you have to “help us help you” by providing information. Several of us have given you ideas on what details are necessary. Please reread our posts. You will have to take the initiative otherwise no one can assist you.
What other schools are you interested in?Good luck.

So, I would love to read all the recommendations and take them into a consideration.

Please help me out with
what classes I should take next year?
what SAT/ACT scores I should shoot for?
What other EC I should sign up for?
Or anything else
I REALLY WANT TO GET INTO A GOOD COLLEGE LIKE UCF, UF OR USF.

BTW my overall Gpa is about 3.8 with 4.4 HPA which will probably raise up to 4.6 with the end of this year.

-Thanks

My first piece of advise is to take the act and sat asap so you can see if there are areas you need to concentrate on. You can take them as many times as you want…it would be a good bench mark

yes @ufmomfriend I am going to take it this year and I am trying to get a 1300 at least.

If you don’t mind paying for multiple tests, take it as soon as possible. Most schools superscore…mesning they take the best scores from each section from tests taken on different dates to give you a better overall score. This gives you much more time to up your score. If you can, take both act and sat…they are different and you never know which you will ultimately be more comfortable with and excel at.
Just my opinion…

So now that you know my GPA, HPA and all my stats other than SAT, what do you think I can do?

Keep your GPA up, continue in your ECs, add leadership roles if possible, keep up your class rigor your senior year, take sat and act.

Remember that junior year is most important as you will apply to schools using your info through junior year. Most schools will look at your sat/act scores into fall senior year. If at all possible, attend any tours offered at your desired schools as they may use “interest” in their equation for admission.
Perhaps others can add more advise.

Good luck
