I just took the june 2013 SAT and got my score report back today. I got a 750 in math getting 1 incorrect and 1 omit. I got a 540 in CR omitting 12! Yes 12! Problem is... I DIDNT OMIT ANYTHING!!! i even double checked even tripled my bubbles. I even counted the number of bubbles in each section to make sure they add up! What to do!!
It says i omitted 11 on passage based reading.
Here is a breakdown of passage based reading.
Easy- 9 correct, 1 wrong, 4 omit
Med- 17 correct, 2 wrong 6 omit
Hard- 5 correct, 3 wrong, 1 omit

Hey Muhammad, I got the same type of problem. I got 670 for Writing when I only got 3 wrong. I plan on contacting College Board for some assistance in this because it really does seem like they messed up a bit here.

Im considering the hand score service. If my bubble was lets suppose too light (thats the only thing i can think went wrong) will they mark it correct if it is actually correct and bump up my score?

Hey guys, I had the same exact problem!! It says I omitted 12 in Math!!! I know I only omitted 2!! In CR it says I omitted 4 and I know I omitted none!!

I contacted CollegeBoard today and I am doing the hand score service because I need this corrected. I recommend you guys do the same. I will tell you how it goes. I think this is some kind of major error that collegeboard had scoring the tests!!!

that happened to me the first time I took it. I didn’t omit any on math section, but it said I ommited one, and so I got a 770 instead of my 800 :(. It also said I ommitted several more on CR than I actually did. I think it has to do with not erasing good enough, when you want to change an answer. I’m not really sure though. Just retake, and be sure than when you erase, you erase completely.

Not counting answers! Darn-That is a hard test. Complain away, get what should be yours. GL

@muhammad @useraccount how sure are you guys that you didn’t skip a section? a passage? an extra page at the end? It’s extraordinarily common. If you’re positive that you didn’t, then just do the hand check

@branmuffin the essay is factored into your writing score.

@satman multiple bubbles counts as a wrong answer, per the proctor at my school.

@satman1111 Did you get the hand score service when CollegeBoard messed-up your scores?

@2redpartyhats I am 100% sure that I did not omit 12 Math questions. I am 100% that I omitted exactly 2 Math questions. I went over the answer sheet over and over. I just don’t understand how this is allowed to happen!

Yea. Same here. Super positive i didnt omit anything. Especially on math i was even expecting an 800. Again, its a habit of mine to start counting the number of bubbles in each section after i complete it. So i know i didnt skip a page or something. And im pretty sure i didnt erase any bubbles. I always do it on my test book first and then bubble it in
