I must admit, College Confidential has provided me with a TON of insights into the world of college admissions process and much more. It has tuned me into what I was missing out on this whole time.

But then, it takes up soo much of my time. It has consumed me!!! I am always on CC when I could be doing my HW. I am on CC asking what last year's AP/SAT was like when I could be studying. I am on CC reading other's chances thread when I could be out doing volunteering/etc myself.

But w/e it has save my life.

I think the word you're looking for is 'paradox'.

ok. cool. Cc is tight.

I totally see where you're coming from...I'm done with the college admissions process. I've gotten in already...why do I keep on coming back for more? If not asking questions about random things in college life, I'm giving off my own brand of advice...and then especially pointing out to every nay-sayer the great attributes of a university I haven't even started attending yet :D What can I say, I'm addicted to this place, for good or bad... I'll just make sure not to be one of those annoying parents helicoptering over kids

yea, it's consumed me too. But I'm going to be on here much less once Senior Year starts.

I'll be too busy with applications...oh joy :)

There are over one hundred of these threads now, and they all say the same thing.

And it's annoying.

yup it is sure a paradox
