Do colleges care if you take a lot of AP classes Senior year?

I'll only be able to send in six of my score from fresh to junior.
I'm planning to take more than half my APs Senior year.

I'm looking at lower Ivies

What and how you do the first semester of your senior year is very important for your college application. So if in your high school, APs are offered in core subjects (e.g. math, science, english, history) then taking them and doing well in them in the senior year fall semester would give you an edge over other candidates from your school, or from schools similar to yours, who take less rigorous courses.

So long as you get reasonable grades, what you do in the second semester of your senior year doesn’t affect your application, so the “whether or not to take APs” question in the senior year spring semester depends on your personal academic goals, and does not affect your application.
