<p>Are there any colleges(Top50) that ignores 9th grade GPA?
So, the grade from sophomore should be counted...</p>

<p>I'm not exactly sure of which ones, but I think a lot of colleges everywhere either completly ignore 9th grade or place very little importance on it.</p>
<p>I know Stanford and U Mich disregard 9th grade.</p>
<p>But remember, your freshmen GPA is still affects your class ranking which is important.</p>
<p>I transferred to other high school in 10th grade, which is perfect!</p>
<p>UC's disregard your 9th grade GPA in their UC GPA calculations used. I believe UC's in the top 50 would be UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCSB, UC Davis.</p>
