I really bombed my freshman year. I went through a really rough time. What well known colleges besides University of Michigan and University of California disregards freshman year gpa in the cumulative?
thank you so much!

Princeton doesn't look at it....

stanford doesnt either (r u sure about the UCs?)

Yeah, the UC policy on GPAs is pretty widely known (University of California - Admissions)

Where did you read about Stanford ignoring freshman year grades though?

is that really it? University of Michigan also doesn't include it. Do you know about University of Virginia, Vanderbilt, University of Wisconsin, University of North Carolina, or any schools around that level?
Thanks a lot guys for your help I really really appreciate it

I'm 99% certain that UVA counts 9th grade grades.

mm i see. does anybody know about the others? vanderbilt, north carolina, wisconsin, university of southern california?

Yes, UW-Madison looks at grades from 9th grade classes. But there is a short answer question (any additional info you want the admissions counselor to know about you) where you could attempt to explain it.

Yes I believe UCB, Princeton ad Stanford disregard freshman hs grades
