I’m kinda late to the party but am really interested in CC. Only ED II and RD are left, and the acceptance rates for ED are 5 times higher than RD. I’m not sure about committing to a college yet so I am considering applying RD, that said, the acceptance rate is really low, like 6% for regular decision, and I don’t know if it’s worth applying. For context, I’m an

You don’t mention ability to pay. Run the net price calculator to see if you can afford Colorado College. You should apply ED only if you can afford the school and if you are convinced that the school is your first choice.
ED should not be viewed as an admission strategy. It is designed to communicate to a specific college that you are convinced it is the right place for you. While the RD rate is pretty low, the word around campus is that CC could easily fill every class with ED candidates, but specifically holds open slots for students who have a great application, but were hesitant to apply ED. In other words, CC ensures that high quality applicants have a chance regardless of their chosen application route.
If ED is designed to communicate to a specific college that your convinced it is the right place for you, that sounds like an admission strategy to me.
