@Rubisco228 I’m an American living abroad (Canada)
I received a likely letter a couple weeks back and was just notified of being named a Rabi Scholar!
I just got an email that I am “likely to be named” a Science Research Fellow! Ahhhhh
I got the likely Science Research Fellow as well! Very honored and humbled!!!
Wow. I got named a rabi scholar. See you guys in New York
Congrats to all you scholars!
Congratulations to all the scholars!
Yes, congratulations! So happy for all of you!
Was just named a Rabi Scholar! Is this the same thing as being a science research fellow?
See you all in New York on April 11th!!
@thetsaria I had interviews with Cornell, Dartmouth, Columbia, and Brown! I met with Cornell and Dartmouth in-person, Brown was over the phone, and Columbia was via Skype. I thought that Columbia was actually my best interview, my lady asked great questions and seemed genuinely interested in my responses. It didn’t feel awkward or forced, and I was actually kinda bummed when it was over! I liked the interviews because I got to get a good reading for what the vibes of all the different schools are, and the interviews definitely pushed Columbia and Dartmouth to the top of my list.
Is it a good sign if they request documents on IDOC? I know it’s required that you do IDOC but on it you can see what schools request what information, and Columbia, Dartmouth, and Cornell have requested all my docs while Brown hasn’t requested any. Is it safe to assume my chances of admission to Columbia is higher? And my chances of admission to Brown is lower?
@hoggy247 That’s a great question! Brown is on my son’s, but not UPenn.
I got the likely Science Research Fellow letter 12 hours ago. (international student, no interview)
@UdeOsae did you apply for financial aid?
Congratulations to all the scholars!
Can someone please explain what it means to be a scholar?
@clueless96 Yes, I applied for financial aid.
@hoggy247 @Alamom Penn doesn’t participate in IDOC. I think you have to upload the tax documents yourself.
@UdeOsae that’s pretty awesome.
Wondering if anyone had applied for a Mathematics major and has got a LL?
