I heard QuestBridge is super competitive. No one has gone to Columbia University at my school in a long time either. I would love to represent my school at Columbia.

Where’s everyone from? Let’s be fwends :-h

I’m from the notorious state of NJ

Brooklyn, NY. I used to live in freehold, NJ lol @viphan

O-H!!

Northern Virginia! :)

Hi, I’m an international student from Myanmar.

Talk about geographical diversity! Already liking the makeup

Texas! Whoop!
And @ilovethecity , yeah, no kidding, QB looks like it might be statistically more competitive than even RD for Columbia.

Pretty sure that I’m one of only two ED applicants at my ultra unspectacular public school (750+ graduating class). But Florida is always such a huge market that there will be no shortage of competition. I’m from Orlando btw.

Lol @ the size of the Harvard thread. Have they been sharing life stories already?

texasss! i dont think any other columbia ED applicants from my school but there are like 5-10 for harvard and stanford each lol

I go to an international school in Myanmar. The graduating class consists of only 36 people but everyone is incredibly competitive and strong in terms of academics and extracurriculars. On the bright side, I’m the only columbia ED applicant from my school but there is one ED applicant for each of the other Ivies.

@resayang19988 that’s exactly whats going on in my graduating class too! 1 girl applying ED/REA to each Ivy haha

Utah here! and yeah lmao @ the harvard thread like what do they even talk about to fill up that many pages?

I’m from a school of almost 3000, and, to my knowledge, I’m the only ED Columbia applicant lol

Damn, y’all from big schools. I guess one less thing to get used to :))

@naoman16 holy crap, what is it like to go to a school of almost 3000? do you meet someone new everyday? sorry, my school only has like 500 people from kindergarten all the way to 12th grade so its so completely different.

@resayang19988 LOL nah, I understand. Every time I think I’ve met everybody in my graduating class, I’ll meet 15 new other seniors at a club meeting the next day or something lol. It’s not that bad, but it definitely gets hard to keep track of all of your friends; much easier to drift away from friends when there’s 700 other people in your class. On the flip side, though, you meet new people with different interests all the time, so that’s always a plus. :)

I’m from a large public school in CA! Actually pretty dreading next week because I can still dream as of right now… but good luck everyone! ^_^

I live in Long Island, New York.
NY is the most represented state on Columbia’s campus.
Any other Long Islanders here?

@viphan where did you come from originally? weren’t you international before?
