<p>I’m looking at these income brackets for 2018 ED Acceptances and my family barely makes 10% of what most people make. No wonder they have little to no work experience. </p>
<p>The class of 2018 stats destroy any hope I have (but believe me, it’s not much!)</p>

I know right! I still don’t understand how someone who took 8 AP Exams or got 2300s on the SAT was outright rejected! </p>

<p>Like coming to terms with mortality before death, if I don’t prepare I’ll be very unpleasantly surprised! The same goes for the admissions decision on Thursday!

<p>I genuinely wonder if students with SAT score around 1850’s were also rejected as immediately as the applicants with +2200’s … #whatisColumbialookingfor </p>

It’s still possible to be admitted. In the class of 2018 thread, there was a girl with around a 1900 on her SAT who got in. And then for the class of 2016, there were 2 girls admitted with SATs between 1800 and 1930. Admissions is supposed to be holistic. </p>

<p>@doodlecat I don’t think that’s a bad grade. If your SAT I Math is high, then it won’t matter as much.</p>
