@livingdoll My interviewer told me he literally chose me based on my prospective major and proximity to his home.

will not reporting ap scores make or break my admissions decision?

I thought Columbia tried to provide as many interviews as possible. Mine was a Skype interview, and she was all the way in New York at Columbia for Graduate school. Loved her though, made the interview very fun and made me want Columbia a lot more.

Just wanted to say good luck to all of you! Everyone on here seems so nice, hope we see each other on the other side :)

I got an email from Columbia about their summer program…I hope it’s a good sign haha (probably not)

I did too haha. I think its just a sign that we are on Columbia’s mailing list. The program isn’t even offered to seniors.^^

@livingdoll my son was accepted ED two years ago without an interview.

@shankar334 Same, but there’s no way I could go if I get rejected. It would just be seeing what could have been.

Harvard SCEA applicant here, so I have no dog in this fight. Best of luck tomorrow to everyone who applied ED.

@skieurope Good luck! I got deferred and rejected last year hopefully you are a better candidate than I am

I just want to wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow. I know you put lots of time and effort into your applications. Be optimistic! :)>- B-) :-*

Hey guys! I have been reading this thread extensively as well. Do you know if it helps that I wrote about being gay in my personal statement?

Columbia is progressive in the every sense of the word. Which means it should work out for you

Did the results come out right at 5 last year or did it take some time for them to all show up?

@misslanette I’m in the same boat…

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE! chances are, if you’ve EDed columbia, even if you don’t get in you’re going to get in to A college so yay! it’s something! congrats to everyone for probably getting into a college!!!

not even twerking can calm me down anymore

I know the Collegeboard releases their test results exactly at 5am so I assumed it would be the same for Columbia (but at 5pm instead of am)

It feels so surreal how big of an impact tomorrow will have on my life. I feel like I’m not as nervous as I should be 8-|

good luck everyone. Thanks for all the support, positive energy, and quenching my curiosity. you guys are great and Columbia may or may not be your future college but dont worry! It is not the end of your life :)
