Columbia Likely Email

Congratulations to all who got in… My son also got early admit letter from Swarthmore. He was deferred by Yale. He now has three good schools to choose from UMich, Swarthmore and Columbia. Only HYPS will add to his decision ( but, he will need a miracle for that). We are happy for him and all the kids in CC who value education at the highest level to see their work recognized.

AHAHAHAHAHA CONGRATS to all the likelys! :)

im sooo jealous ;)

So jealous… I should’ve worked harder in my senior year… Messed up on my mid-year report… :(

Ok I think I’m for sure screwed now :(

But congrats to everyone who got one!

^You’re not screwed at all. The vast majority of acceptees don’t get likelies.

Were these Snail mail letters or emails? This last batch? Thanks

I dont understand.

I received a ll for columbia too however I am shocked at the amount of these things they sent out thise year lol. Whatever, I guess I’ll wait for HYP decisions and hold my Columbia letter to heart.

I think they were all sent via e-mail.

I got mail and e-mail. Maybe it is for science because I sent my research paper in. Pretty happy as I got rejected from caltech and mit.

They’re sent by email at first, and then it comes by mail a few days later.

Received via e-mail. All of D’s likelies have been via e-mail.

Wow, I didn’t get one :(

Me neither :(

most people didn’t; likelies only go out to like the top of the top applicants (most are athletes, minorities, or just really really stand out) even if you didn’t, i wouldn’t stress it ;)

I didnt apply to Columbia for undergrad but i would still like to get a degree from Columbia SEAS,
I have been accepted to Drexel, RPI and other engineering schools, however I have found the Columbia 3-2 plan where you can attend a liberal arts school for 3 years, and then go to columbia for 2 years with guaranteed transfer.

Is it worth it to pass up reasonably respectable engineering schools to go to a lower rated liberal arts school that no one has ever heard of because it is part of the Fu Foundation affiliated schools.

I heard SEAS accepts like 11% of freshman so i didnt think my odds were that good as a freshman admit.

Are there any deferred ED applicants here who got likelies?

^^^^^^^^ I was deferred. I don’t think we get ll’s at all.

Eh, if we were that good, we would’ve gotten in ED.

HECK YEAH! got one this week! now have to do skype interview for Yale!

congratsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

so it begins
