Hi guys!

First of all congratulations to those of you who were offered an interview!
I also applied to the dual BA, but I haven’t received any e-mail yet… Do you think it means I wasn’t accepted? I’m starting to get quite nervous…

Thanks for your answers!

i called the school of GS last friday after 5 PM eastern standard time and was told that despite having told us they’d notify us by the week of february 11, they’re still reviewing applications. when i called earlier in the week (wed), i was told that we’d hear about decisions (not interview invites) by third week of to March to the 28th.

i hope we hear back on monday.

side note, what columbia major/campus did everyone apply to? i did le havre and architecture.

Thank you for that info, 905671907. My daughter also called end of day Friday and was told by a woman that she thought all candidates for interviews had been contacted. I really hope your person was right!! I guess we’ll find out more on Monday. Anyone else out there get an interview invitation? We did hear, by the way, that they had a LOT of applicant this year. Good luck to all!

Hello! I also applied for this Dual BA program and got an interview offer for Tuesday, via Skype. I’m so excited and nervous as well! :)

I live in France, but I’m Portuguese, got 109 at my TOEFL, Reims/Le Havre :)

Nicolasy, you shouldn’t be recieving your interview offer via email, but via a phone call?

Does anyone know if the interviews are just like typical college interviews (types of questions, how long it lasts, etc)?

According to what I’ve been reading around, it lasts 30 minutes more or less. Questions are pretty the classical ones (“Why do want to join this program”, etc.)

Are you going to be interviewed in Columbia, or via phone/Skype?

I’ll be having mine over Skype. How about you?

Also, I got my interview request via email.

I got my interview request via phone call, and having mine over Skype. Still thinking about the questions I could ask them (there will be one Columbia representant and another from Sciences Po)

What is your background, if I may ask?

And stupid question: do you intend to put on headphones? Because I guess it could give a ridiculous look, if they turn on video (I guess they will) but I don’t want to sound stupid by asking them to repeat if there’s noises around…

@funkeicool, hi! have you got an interview offer too? may I ask where you are from and which campus your first choice is?

hi gotousa, what is your first choice? :)

US Applicant, Le Havre

I don’t think I’ll be wearing headphones. I’m sure asking them to repeat a question won’t be a problem though.

Le Havre,see previous pages.:)

Sorry, I just visited the previous pages and saw you already posted your background.

When are your interviews scheduled for? I got mine pretty early, for Thursday…

I just received an e-mail from the admission manager; she told me that “the admission committee had reached out to all applicants for whom an interview will be required”. But I didn’t receive anything… Do you think it means it’s over for me? It’s gonna be so hard to wait for the notification letter…

By the way, I got my TOEFL with 111 points, I chose Reims/Menton.
