Columbia Transfer Fall 2010

^ same here.

So what should we expect, an email or a letter?

^ and same here cant access the second part.

email sometime this week, letter sometime after

Just got an email from Columbia. Friday at 5!!

Just got an email from Admissions… Decisions will be released online only, and will be posted on Friday, May 14, after 5 PM EST.

EDIT: Correction – SOME decisions will be released ONLY online, hah.

phew, Awesome!

Most likely all the rejections will be posted online!

The Columbia community is committed to environmental responsibility; in keeping with this commitment, we will provide some admissions decisions only online, not via regular mail. We plan to post all decisions on Friday, May 14, 2010, after 5:00pm (Eastern Time).

please please please please please

lol

Hmm, so you think acceptances will be mailed out on Friday and if our decision is unchanged we’re in?

the timing of the email couldn’t have been more perfect; I was sitting, waiting for a call for a phone interview (which was already running a few minutes late) and seeing “Columbia University Decisions” didn’t help calm my nerves :(

Wait did everyone get this email?

it seems that way cynthia

Oh wait! Just got it! Phew, thought I was rejected before it even began

columbia is doing phone interviews? i didnt get one…

got the email…I honestly would’ve preferred no email at all. I got it during class and got all excited that it might be the decision…argh!

holoy moly i am nervous…penn on the 13th, columbia on the 14th, harvard on the 15th…if i don’t post until sunday, it either means i’ve been rejected and am passing out drunk, or i got accepted and am passing out drunk.

this was for a job, not for columbia. i just saw the email on my bb just before the interview, so it kinda startled me

if it’s the same as it was last year, all decisions will be posted online (not just rejections), and then acceptances will additionally be mailed out.

Yeah, reading the email it says ALL decisions will be released online. Basically means they don’t want to waste paper on rejectees =]
