Release is the opposite of getting off the waitlist. It means to be officially rejected from the school
@bioenggirl it is pretty late into the waitlist time, to give some reference, people began being released last year around May 22 and the year before around June 2.

I am on the waitlist too. I think it was last year or the year before that the decisions were posted on the 6th of June. I still am quite anxious. Would it harm if I call the admissions office?
Please call and ask them it would mean a lot for all of us waiting for a response

I just called and all they said was “everyone will receive an email by June 30th” so I have a feeling nothing today?
it wouldn’t hurt but they’ll tell u that they can’t give u the decision because it’s still “within their time frame”

I really don’t get it… why don’t they admit or release us already? It’s June 7th and I don’t believe there’s that much time left for all the bureaucracy necessary for enrolling.
