So I was wondering are there shower stalls with doors or curtains? If curtains is there a way to lock it? If not has anyone ever been harrassed or someone has decided to take a peak at you? Lmaoo

At orientation, in the livingston towers; there were curtains.

HOWEVER, there are 3 showers. One in the middle. you HAVE to go through the middle one to get to the side ones… so i think it’d be SUPER awkward/creepy is you were in the side one and someone went into the middle… you cant get out without brushing up against them LOL

ah man i really hope it’s different on busch haha

does anyone know what the showers are like on college ave, in mettler?

Towers - The showers aren’t actually 3 showers, unless there’s something different in the guys’ room that I don’t know about. In the girl’s bathroom at least, the middle room is just a place to hang all your clothes and is extra drainage/wet area/privacy for the 2 side showers. There isn’t even a shower head in there. People typically disrobe in the 2 showers on the side.

Busch - Davidson had their bathroom redone a few years ago. Awesome! Almost everything is automatic. Showers are spacious. BAMM showers are tiny compared to Davidson, but they aren’t the worse that I’ve seen in terms of cleanliness. Straight row of like 4 showers. Again, any disrobing goes on in the actual shower stall so it’s not like everyone is running around naked.

oh, that was my incorrectness. I just saw the drain and assumed it was a shower.

Thanks everyone, I was just wondering do people try to peak lol or have you guys heard stories

If a stranger tries to peak, they are just rude or perverted.

I haven’t heard any stories except the immature boys that I lived with last semester went into the shower that one floor mate was in. They played a prank. But they were always doing pranks. And they knew each other, so it wasn’t a stranger.

Is there usually a pretty safe and logical place to drop your clothes, towel, etc.?

^ As in “getting naked”? Well, your room if your roommate isn’t there or they don’t mind.

Sometimes I just get dressed inside the shower or in the larger handicap toilet stalls. I usually just put on a tank top and short pants. I finish getting dressed in my room.

Yeah, I meant temp. clothes and stuff, whatever to bring with you to dry off… and I assume your room key, if you’re roommate’s out. Plus whatever shampoo/soap stuff you bring. I’m just worried I’ll be showering and somebody might come by and yank all my stuff.

Always, ALWAYS bring your room key! If your roommate decides to step out or go to class, you’re pretty much screwed and will need to contact the RA on duty to help you get into your room.

Outside of the shower stalls there are hooks for you to place your towel and small articles of clothing (like underwear, shorts, etc.). If someone tries to yank your stuff, they would have to be pretty good at it since you are right there and can see a shadow in front of your stall grabbing stuff!

Oh, good point–thanks.

And alright :)

any chance there are pictures of the bathroom up somehwere online?
