i don't really know which to go to, which one would be better?
can you guys like help me out?

Depends on what you want down the line. If you want to transfer to UC, then community college makes more sense: it’s very, very hard to transfer from Cal State to a UC. On the other hand, if transfer is not something you’re contemplating, then I’d suggest Cal State for a more traditional college experience.

I chose community college. Not only is it cheaper, you also get to go to a UC with a 3.0 or over. UCSD in particular is a great deal because the average HS admit has over a 4.0 W.

if you’re independant, and don’t need anyone to necessarily guide your hand, and can make sense of what you need to do to get the general ed requirements for a UC out of the way, ie IGETC than pick community college.

many community college counselors are useless. your better off helping out yourself and getting extremely familiar with IGETC at your community college/s and assist.org if you start community college, don’t slack off or get bad grades, because you’ll end up hurting your transfer chances which might land you at the same cal state your debating to go to.
