I am trying to transfer credits to my higher institution from a Spanish class I was planning on taking in the summer. A bunch of registration errors occurred for me to Fail the class without even taking it on my community college transcript. I know I have to submit the transcript to all the med schools I apply to and they are going to see an F for the class. Is this going to screw my GPA and my chances over since they are going to see I “flunked” a community college course? For reference, I am attending a 4 year university and was only doing this Spanish course for credit to transfer over to my higher instituion.
It’s only going to “screw” your GPA as much as the effect of one F has on your overall GPA. That’s what? 3 credits out of approx 120 credits required for your degree. Negligible impact, but not zero impact.
It is what it is. You can’t change it now.
As for your chances for a med school admission. No, adcomms are not going to see a F in community college Spanish and think “total loser” and reject you. Your application will be evaluate holistically and within the context of the rest of your app.
What does this mean? Does it mean you registered, and didn’t properly withdraw?
Cant you get this error off your transcript?
