<p>I've heard there are different awards for doing Community Service, such as the Presidential Award (or something like that). What are examples of these, and what are the critera to obtain them?</p>

<p>is receiving the Presidential award next week for community service. She has logged in 140 hours this year at teaching Sunday School, running a very, very large community clothing drive, shoveling snow for her adopted senior citizen all winter, and acting as the vehicle dispatcher for her school's food drive. I have no idea whether this award will benefit her or even means anything, but she does the service she does because it's what she believes in. Her goal is to add a school supply/back pack drive to the clothing drive so the kids she gets dressed for school can have back packs, crayons and other school supplies to start the school year right. I can't wait to see how she raises the money.</p>
