The UC app says to enter the community service organization name, how many hours a week, and for how many weeks. I did get hours here and there from various organizations (like 10 or so). The thing is, I only went on average twice to each program so I could get the hours. Should I just not mention these programs becuase I only went once or twice for the 8-10 hours I got from each organization or should I say (for example): AYSO games, 4 hrs/week for 2 weeks?

Did you do all these programs for some volunteer club at your school? If so, you could just list the club, and put hrs/weeks.

Or you could just put the ever generic "volunteering" and lump them all together.

stevo, it sounds like your concentration was on what is called "done in a day" projects. You just need to describe in an essay or other commentary how your volunteer efforts were focused on short-term or done-in-a-day projects.

Adcoms will understand as a lot of service programs include this type of activity:

On the first Saturday of each month the Jacksonville University Community Service-Learning Center organizes a Done In A Day Project (DIAD). The project is coordinated with a community partner and usually lasts four hours. Previous projects involved organizing a clothing closet for a local youth shelter and painting displays at the zoo.

These are all just random organizations, not really any from school clubs. Thanks for the help!
