Company Letter?

2nd company!

N Company, 26 Platoon

C Company 5th Platoon

Does that mean I am in 5th company?

Pretty sure it means that you will be in 5th Company during the Academic Year.

Son got Alpha Company, 1st Platoon. Anyone else in that one?

Delta Company, 8th Platoon! Does anyone know anything about 8th Co.?

i got Papa company, 29th platoon.

M Company 23 Platoon

23rd Company Academic Year

Go NAVY!

Delta Company, 8th Platoon!!

23rd company is a very good company. send me a message if you want more info

Does anyone know how mids are assigned companies. Is it a random, lottery type deal or do they try to match and diversify the companies so that they will all be "equal" so to speak.

does anyone know which academic year companies are matched up together? forexample, would 9th and 10th academic year companies make up echo company during plebe summer?
also,
who act as the cadre during plebe summer? rising 2nd class? or rising firsties...both?
do you ever shuffle companies or is the company you are in during plebe summer stick with you until graduation?
last...is there PEP on sundays?
so many random questions...i know

during the ac year the brigade is organized into two regiments (1st and 2nd). each regiment has 3 battalions and each battalion has 5 companies:
1st regiment
1st batt
companies 1-5
2nd batt
companies 6-10
3rd batt
companies 11-15
2nd regiment
4th batt
companies 16-20
5th batt
companies 21-25
6th batt
companies 26-30
so ac year companies aren't really paired together like during plebe summer, but they're grouped together in battalions.

i think firsties are running plebe summer... might be possible that 2/c are squad leaders, but i'm not sure.

i think a parent commented somewhere on a different thread that her daughter's favorite days of the summer were wednesdays because there was no PEP, but my memory could be wrong. i would assume there's no PEP on sundays either but again i'm not sure. and obviously things change every year so nothing is guaranteed.

Firsties run Plebe Summer and they are the squad leaders during PS.

But once the Academic year hits, 2/c are in charge of plebe training, while 1/c have leadership responsibilities over all classes.

Haha for those of y'all that got 5th good luck. :) The other one's that I saw are pretty good, I think 2nd is alright I have some good friends of that one and 29 is good. The bearsharks (25) is okay. The worst are generally 5, 13, and 21. But some companies may be harder this year, I know mine is supposed to be because '10 thought we ('11) had it to easy. So who knows.
Who cares about y'all calling, I did it and I know a lot of other people do. The people that y'all are calling are sitting in admissions doing not a whole lot other than answering the phones. They can easily look it up so don't worry about it.

so what exactly makes a specific company "the worst" or "the toughest"?
what do those specific companies do that are so much worse than the other ones?

ex) everyone says 5, 13, and 21 are the toughest/training companies. what makes these be known as such?

vitamin water, this website helped answer a lot of my questions on plebe summer, I hope it does the same for you.

USNA-Net Parents Handbook

23 is traditionally tough

30th company for me! I hear its on the top deck. So lots of stairs- but I guess it will only make me stronger?

Yup. 4 deck for me too.

Woo. I love stairs.
