Computer Science AP test

For people who are enrolled or planning to enroll in Computer Science,
does College Park treats a 5 on CS A test and a 4 on CS AB test equally?

Will there be any discrimination for people who have 5 just on the A test?

Check out this chart (I found it via searching for AP Credit) at umd.edu. Absolutely everything is online, but you have to look around for it sometimes with UMD!!!

it looks like what course the AP test counts as is based on departmental evaluation, but there is also the option of taking another exam administered by the department to count towards course requirements in the major.

wow thanks!
