I checked on assist.org and looked that the requirements for the transfer are Calc 1 + Calc 2, along with a year of transferable computer science classes, which I will complete.
However, for the “ADDITIONAL APPROVED COURSES FOR THE MAJOR,” no classes at my college articulate to any of their courses listed (about 12)
With this, I have two questions:
-
Will I just get elective units from UCI for my one year of CS classes at my CC? For example, CISP360, CISP400, CISP430, CISP440, CISP310 would be counted as what at UCI?
-
Because I won’t be able to get any of the lower division classes out of the way through articulation, would it even be possible for me to graduate in two years, with a completed IGETC prior to transfer? There would be about 12 lower division classes I would have to take before I can take the 20+ upper division classes required for the degree…
