Can anyone tell me anything about the computer science program at A&M? How hard are the classes? How is job placement? How helpful are the professors?

Hi, I’m a computer engineering major but we pretty much have the same classes as the CS majors up until 400 level classes. I had some programming experience in high school, so I thought the 100 level classes were really easy. 221 wasn’t that hard. 313 was pretty straightforward, and 312 and 315 just took a lot of time. All of my professors were very helpful. I’ve only heard of one or two “bad” professors, but I haven’t had any classes with them. When you mention job placement, if you mean the chances of getting a job, I think it really depends on you. There are career fairs every semester, and companies that go often go specifically to recruit A&M students.
