I still have not been emailed a confirmation stating my application and supporting information have been received. Should I contact admissions or should I hold off? Are there others out there who have yet to hear something?

My Early Action confirmation was an acceptance letter, so I wouldn’t be too worried. Can always call if it will put your mind at ease.

Thanks- I called and asked admissions office if info was received… was told it was and I would eventually receive a confirmation in the mail.

yea same problem here. I applied, but my application hasn’t been confirmed yet. Talked to my school counselor and was told that since it was a big school it would probably take them awhile. I applied regular decision.

I also have a problem because i’m currently living in China. Regular decision application decisions aren’t sent out until early april, by postal mail. Unfortunately it takes several weeks for mail to get to china from the US. Seeing as May 1st is the deadline by which you are suppose to send in your registration card and fee of $500 if accepted, i’m not sure what i’m suppose to do if i receive an acceptance letter after May 1st. I emailed admissions and they still haven’t replied yet. hmmmmm… suggestions?

For EA, they sent me an email saying that all my application materials had been received. I am not sure if they do this for RD, though. However, I remember reading somewhere that they would contact RD applicants at the beginning of February if you were missing something, so I would say if you haven’t been contacted about it, your application is complete.

ndsocal, i got a confirmation letter today from Notre Dame saying they recieved all my information so you might get something in the mail soon.

Thanks- just received my confirmation letter yesterday. Nice to know I am officially in the system and they have everything they need to make a decision.
