I know 2 teachers I want to ask for recommendations from, but I'm not sure about another one. I need a recommendation from a math teacher, and I could ask the teacher I had my junior year, but I'm not sure how strong of a recommendation he could write for me. I don't feel like I did that great in the class, or like he knew me that well.

There's a math teacher I had my sophomore year, and I have him now my senior year. He remembers me, and he knows me alright. I think I did pretty good in his class and I felt like I had a much better relationship with this teacher than the one I had my junior year. Thus far I'm doing good in his class. But people tell me they would want to hear about a teacher you had junior year, not sophomore year, but I have him now, so would that make it okay?

Would it be better to ask my junior year teacher, or the teacher I had sophomore year and now?
