<p>Hi guys! I got accepted to UCSD and I'm planning to attend. However, something is bothering me. I am so confused on the rescind policy. I know that UCSD will rescind you if you get D/Fs. Is that for your final overall grade in a class? Because in my school, we break a year down into four marking periods. I got As in psychology for my first two marking periods. Then I got a D in my third. I think I'm getting a B for my fourth. On my final transcript, my final grade would probably average to a B. I think my school just sends the overall after grade of the four marking periods. Would I get rescinded??</p>
<p>If it’s not a final grade, you will be OK. There are plenty of instances where a quarterly in-progress grade may not reflect your actual work – say, if you were ill and have missing tests or assignments that are auto-calculated as zero until officially updated.</p>
