Confused between - Psychology/Social work double degree or Psychology/Business double degree

Hi guys, so im a year 12 student and ill be graduating this year inshallah. I’m just stuck between those options. like I want to do psychology and social work but I don’t think there will be enough jobs. I also don’t mind doing the business double degree and maybe become an HR but I’m not sure if HR is a good career option??? I NEED HELP

I can’t decide for you.
You probably don’t know enough now.
Start with Psychology…and then also take a Sociology course and then maybe next year a business course.
Talk to professors in business/sociology about what the think.
Look at how much more schooling is needed for sociology (at least a Masters?)
Look on indeed.com or the like for how much an HR person makes.
Try to shadow people in each job to see what it is like.

Are you in the U.S. (or trying to go to a U.S. college)? If so, you usually can wait until you get to college to decide - even as late as the end of your second year in college.

I majored in psychology in undergrad. There are lots of jobs that you can do with a psychology major; many of them are not in the stereotypical fields that people think of when they think of psychology (i.e. counseling, human services). For example, I work in technology. I have a graduate degree, but it’s possible to work in lots of fields without a grad degree - like marketing, business, consulting, nonprofits, and more.

Social work has plenty of jobs in the field.

HR is also a great career options; people come from lots of majors into HR. Psychology is a popular one to come from.
