CONFUSED possible transfer student

<p>I'm a second year student at UC DAVIS majoring in microbiology and I was (am?) planning to transfer to UCLA for the same major (yes, I did send in my application).</p>

<p>Anyway, I just got a job at UCD as a paid lab assistant. I know getting lab job at major university is hard and having that job would look good on a lot applications (job, med school, grad school, etc). However I really miss home (from SoCal) and would love to go to school close to home; before anybody say anything, let me let you guys know that my parents only let me apply to UCLA and no other school. </p>

<p>so what do you guys think? should I transfer to UCLA? I need opinions!!!</p>

<p>I would say, do what ever that makes you happy. If you’re happy closer to home, then go for it.</p>
