<p>What is harder? the SAT or the ACT? I was planning on taking both but i am not sure if that is really sth that i really have to do. Do ya'll have some good advice?</p>
<p>Those who score higher on the ACT than SAT often profess ACT is easier. Those who score higher on SAT than ACT often profess the SAT is easier. How many do that either way is believed to be about the same. Majority who take both tests score in same percentile ranges of the tests. Generally, if you take one test and score as high as you need for particular colleges to which you are applying, there is no reason to take the other test except, if you want to qualify for National Merit Scholarship sponsored through the SAT, you need to take PSAT and SAT to qualify and thus you need to take SAT in that situation even if you take ACT.</p>
