Note: I know there is a LOT more to application process than academic scores (but for the sake of argument…)
Hey Guys!
I am confused about super scoring system (particularly in Georgia Tech.). I had given an ACT on September these scores:
Real Scores: E:32 R:35 M:35 S:24 i.e 32 Composite
Suppose in next ACT, I get scores along the lines of:
Hypothetical Scores #1: E:35 R:0 M:35 S:35 i.e. 26 Composite
Super scoring gives the score: 35. Right? So here are my queries:
- Am I treated as equal to someone who scored 35 in one sitting (in terms of ACT), even though it (blatantly) looks like my reading skills are non-existent/I did not attempt a single question?
2.If yes, is it practical that I focus on English and Science only and try to bump the scores up to 35?
3.If no, if I get scores along the lines of
Hypothetical Scores #2: E:35 R:21 M:35 S:35 i.e. 32 Composite, would I be?
I believe this would enable me to understand the scoring system better.
Thanks as usual.
