<p>Welcome to Harvard! You are really joining a special community. As a sophomore here, I definitely remember when I was accepted. I am just writing to you guys to do the following tonight:</p>

<p>1) Go out with your family! Thank your parents! Hug your siblings! This is really a family affair.</p>

<p>2) Start researching all you want about Harvard. I am an expert on <a href="http://www.prefrosh.net%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.prefrosh.net&lt;/a>, which is an unofficial guide to Harvard brought to you by current undergrads. Saxfreq1128 also posts on it as well. Just to be clear, we're no way connected to Harvard University officially and it is not University-sanctioned (though we think we give pretty good advice, we have to put this disclaimer for legal reasons).</p>

<p>3) Frame your acceptance letter! Run through the streets!</p>

<p>what exactly happens April 21-23? What sort of activities do they have planned for us?</p>

<p>tons of panels on every academic and social activity that goes on here but mostly they just structure time for you to get to know your potential classmates...everyone will seem normal, but then again there won't be any tests/papers/grades to worry about, so be wary. harvard's party scene in general is fairly subdued and private, however, if you get hooked up with the right upperclassmen or host you'll have a great time at night.</p>

<p>Hey people- my name is Erica and I am a Freshman at the college. Welcome to the Harvard Community! Honestly... Harvard is amazing and even now, as a student there, there are times when I can't even believe that I got accepted.... seriously! The feeling of that big envelope is awesome too.... the cookies--- meh... If anyone has any questions- just facebook me at Erica Adrienne or just ask away! Congrats again everyone!</p>

<p>lol i know this may sound like a stupid question, but for pre-frosh wknd i know that some schools pay for the plane tickets etc...will harvard do the same?</p>

<p>I know that for some cases, they will pay for it... I come from nearby (2 hours) so I didn't need anything really payed for</p>
