connecticut college, colorado college, or hamilton

Ive been accepted to conn coll and hamilton, but am waitlisted at colorado college. I have no idea which is my first choice Things im considering are academic reputation, strength in biology/ neuroscience, and campus vibe. any thoughts

Realistically, getting off the wait list at Colorado College usually is a long shot. In recent years, the waiting list admit rate has ranged from 92 out of 215 (2006-07) to 1 out of 321 (2008-09).

Have you visited both Hamilton and Connecticut College? If you have no clear preference, what about costs? Or climate? Conn College would have milder winters. I don’t think there is much difference in academic reputation and in such cases it’s usually very hard to compare individual department strength at two LACs. I’ve heard Connecticut College has a very strong botany program, but I don’t know about life sciences in general. Their arboretum and waterfront location must provide good resources.
