I really like Threadless’ shirts. Target and stores like it have nice basic tees and some pretty cool graphic tees for guys. If I were a guy I’d definitely shop there. And JCP too, they have some pretty good sales on graphic t-shirts.

As a female, I stay away from shirts that have the brand on them (Aeropostale, AE, etc). Personally I find them absolutely ridiculous and I don’t like the thought of being a walking billboard for a brand. Those sort of stores do have nice shirts though, i.e. AE has really nice button-downs for guys.

Wear whatever you want, like others have said though if it has a huge brand on it it looks a little less classy. Graphic tees are also a fine line to walk, since they can either look really cool or really middle school.

If you are a fan of DMB and own at least one if not all CDs, that’s perfectly fine…if not, and you just got the shirt because other people are into DMB and you want to “fit in” then you are a poser, and posing is soo high school.

The best is the kids who wear band shirts…you ask what their favorite song is. Their reply? “…” Or the kids who wear tapout shirts. Ask if they’re going to watch the fights this Saturday. “…What fights?”

to pbbuff: the shirt you showed has abercrombie written right in the front chest, under the buttons. it completely disproves what you said about nonbranded things being ok, since that is very blatantly branded.

either way, no matter how nice the clothes look, id never buy them because it would take 5 years to get the stench of that horrid cologne out.

DMB has a huge tool/d bag fan base. The dead are the true American jam band. If I see a guy wearing a DMB shirt, it is a major turnoff because so many of the preppy tools in my hs love him and dish out way too much to see him. A lot of people group dmb with tool/d bag, just an FYI. There is def a certain thing about his fans…

Most of my Ts are either shirts from events, plain shirts (banana republic makes some of these that are good), and university t shirts (like “LSU” or “Bama”). With a couple polo shirts

i like some shirts from j. crew (when they r on sale) and banana republic. most are plain but not to plain. urban outfitters has some shirts that can be cool, and some r stupid, and r overpriced for the quality generally. random sites prob will work well. i suggest rogue monk for some wierder shirts probably. pretty cool mostly, reasonably priced, good quality, and my brother works for them .

The guys that started “Bro’s Icing Bro’s” have a company called “Statusbro.com” that has some sick shirts. Take a look through Thrillist.com they always feature pretty cool brands they show there. I heard there is this company called Campus Dibs (campusdibs.com) that is coming out soon too. They do featured deals of the day and my friend said they are going to have some cool clothing companies featured with big discounts, plus things like textbooks, dorm supplies, restaurants, and other cool stuff.

RE: Campus Dibs…figures they would come out with something like that when I’m almost DONE with college…isn’t that just my luck? (Not that they even probably thought about Cincinnati when organizing the restaurant thing lol)

@vandycandy I meant the big giant billboard advertising. Sorry for not clarifying, but I don’t see how a one-inch tiny logo is blatant…? Unless somebody is actually putting their face in your chest, it’s not that obvious–at all. If you wouldn’t be willing to wear it, just because of a tiny logo, then perhaps you should stick to target brand.

And I don’t know about the quality of your washing machine, but it takes me one wash to get the cologne out.

I agree with DC and PB, that logo is not that huge. And I don’t think American Eagle is that bad either, just a small eagle on the corner of most things, shorts, tank tops, t-shirts. Sometimes I forget I have something from AE on, the logo is so discreet (at least on the items I own).
